Shipping

We offer shipping to the lower 48 states in the United States by postal service. Strong measures are taken to ensure the safe, fast shipment of your new friend(s). Insurance is available and will be purchased on every shipment. Food, water, and bedding will be provided for the trip as well.
 

Shipping Guidelines: 

Must be above 40 degrees Fahrenheit for the low, and below 90 degrees Fahrenheit for the high. Anything below or above these temperatures is not considered safe.

Shipping is only done via postal service. This means that your birds will be delivered to the nearest post office and you will need to arrange to pick them up the same day. The post office will be provided with a phone number to call upon arrival. Picking up birds in a timely manner ensures that they do not sit in the box for any extra length of time, which could be detrimental.

Shipping typically takes between 2-3 days and costs between $50-100. The box and supplies are around $30 extra. The total price varies based on distance and weight of the package. Delays, weather, and circumstances out of our control do happen- which is why insurance is purchased for the package. A tracking number will also be provided.

Casualties can, sadly, happen despite all of our care taken to prevent them. In the instance of a bird arriving deceased, please follow up with the insurance provided- while we have not lost any birds in transit to date, it could happen and we want to ensure that you are not out any money for the loss. Please video tape the package being opened, as that sometimes helps with insurance claims (to prove the bird did, in fact, arrive deceased).
